 Microdermabrasion improves mild to moderate sun damage, acne scarring, wrinkles and allows for deeper penetration of topical medications or skincare products. We offer the latest in microdermabrasion technology, the DiamondTome™ system. This crystal-free system uses a diamond-tipped wand to gently polish aging, sun-damaged and acne-prone skin, leaving skin glowing, smooth and fresh. DiamondTome is painless and safe. Only a small amount of skin is removed, so sensitive areas such as the face, chest, neck, arms, hands and back can be treated. Results are comparable to a light chemical peel and should be immediately visible. For optimal results, microdermabrasion is often performed in conjunction with other procedures, such as IPL and chemical peels, and is very effective for treatment of melasma when prescription bleaching creams are used after the procedure.
Multiple treatments are recommended for full effect.
