Dr. Alicia Barba, M.D. performs clinical trials in association with International Dermatology Research (IDR), a company that has been conducting clinical research for over 15 years in Miami, Florida. IDR has the on-site capabilities and a full-time research staff of 10 to assist companies looking to conduct Phase II, III and IV clinical trials. The members of our clinical team have served as investigators in the development of pharmaceutical products and devices as well as drugs in development.
Under the supervision of Research Director and Founder Silvia Trinidad, B.A, IDR has full time staff dedicated clinical trials. The staff consists of board certified dermatologists, a physician assistant and certified research coordinators who have years of combined experience in dermatology and clinical research. Today, IDR is regarded highly as one of Miami's leading clinical trial sites for dermatology and has an existing database compiled of more than 50,000 patients.
